Kinetico water treatment
Explore Kinetico water softeners, under-sink reverse osmosis systems, commercial drinking-water equipment and compatible replacement filtration. Use the guidance below to narrow the range by plumbing type, household demand and the water problem you want to solve.
Start with the water problem
A water softener and a reverse osmosis system do different jobs. Choose whole-home softening for hard-water minerals and limescale; choose reverse osmosis for filtered drinking water at a dedicated kitchen tap.

Boiler type, plumbing arrangement, peak flow, water hardness and installation space matter more than household size alone. Use these distinctions as a starting point, then check the complete product specification before ordering.
Vented and gravity-fed systems
A compact, non-electric twin-tank softener designed for dependable performance with vented and gravity-fed plumbing.
Pressurised and higher-flow homes
The higher-flow Supersoft choice for pressurised systems, combi boilers and unvented hot-water arrangements.
Compact high-flow option
A non-electric softener for modern pressurised homes that need strong flow performance without a large cabinet.
Greater capacity
The larger Sumo option for harder water, heavier day-to-day demand or households needing greater softening capacity.
Electric alternative
A compact electric water softener for customers who prefer digital control over a water-powered twin-tank system.
Maximum household demand
A separate-brine-tank, non-electric twin-tank system for high-flow installations and greater salt-storage capacity.

Filtered drinking water
These systems treat water for drinking and cooking at the kitchen tap. They do not replace a whole-home water softener when the objective is limescale reduction across the property.
Hydrogen-enriched RO
A high-capacity reverse osmosis system with a molecular-hydrogen stage for customers specifically seeking hydrogen-enriched drinking water.

No. The Supersoft HE, Supersoft HF, Sumo 1, Sumo 2 and Supersoft Pro are non-electric systems. The nuWave 800 is the electric alternative in this collection.
The HE is intended for vented and gravity-fed plumbing systems. The HF has the higher listed service flow and is intended for pressurised systems, including combi boilers and unvented hot-water arrangements.
A twin-tank design can keep supplying softened water while one resin tank regenerates. This avoids the interruption normally associated with a single-tank system during regeneration.
A softener removes hardness minerals through ion exchange; it is not a substitute for a drinking-water filter. Choose a reverse osmosis or other dedicated filtration system if drinking-water treatment is your priority.
Choose a water softener to reduce hardness and limescale throughout the home. Choose reverse osmosis to purify drinking and cooking water at a dedicated tap. Some households use both systems because they perform different jobs.
Professional installation is recommended. The installer must account for the incoming main, bypass, drain, overflow, pressure, connections and access for future salt filling and servicing.
