Reverse Osmosis Purification with Molecular Hydrogen
The Kenda combines high-capacity reverse osmosis filtration with a dedicated hydrogen-generation stage. Its tankless design produces purified water on demand, while a two-way faucet allows the system's filtered water and hydrogen-enriched water functions to be used from one installation.
RO Membrane
High-capacity reverse osmosis filtration with a 0.0001 micron membrane.
RO Flow Rate
Fast direct-flow purified water for everyday drinking and cooking.
Hydrogen Concentration
Dedicated hydrogen generation for hydrogen-enriched drinking water.
Under-Sink Design
No separate purified-water storage tank is required.
Purified RO Water and Hydrogen-Enriched Water
Reverse osmosis is the purification stage of the Kenda. Incoming water passes through pre-filtration and a 600 GPD RO membrane before the system's dedicated hydrogen technology is used for the hydrogen-water function.
This makes the Kenda different from a conventional under-sink RO system: the focus is not only high-level filtration, but also the ability to dispense hydrogen-enriched water through the supplied two-way faucet.
- 600 GPD reverse osmosis membrane
- 0.0001 micron membrane specification
- Dedicated hydrogen-generation stage
- Two-way dedicated faucet
- High-performance booster pump
High-Capacity Reverse Osmosis Filtration
The Kenda uses a combined polypropylene and carbon pre-filter followed by a 600 GPD reverse osmosis membrane. The RO stage is designed to substantially reduce dissolved substances from the incoming water before dispensing.
Pre-Filtration
Combined 5-micron polypropylene and carbon filtration prepares the incoming water for the RO membrane.
Reverse Osmosis
The 600 GPD, 0.0001 micron membrane provides the system's principal dissolved-solids reduction stage.
Hydrogen Function
The dedicated hydrogenator produces hydrogen-enriched water through the system's separate dispensing function.
Dedicated Molecular Hydrogen Generation
The hydrogenator is a separate functional stage within the Kenda system. The stated hydrogen concentration is 800–1,000 PPB, with a hydrogen-water flow rate of 0.8–1.2 litres per minute.
These figures describe the output of the hydrogen function rather than the main RO flow rate. Actual values depend on incoming-water conditions.
*Performance values depend on characteristics of the incoming water, including TDS, temperature and pressure. Hydrogen-enriched water is presented here as a product feature; this page does not make medical or therapeutic claims.
Compact Tankless Under-Sink Installation
The Kenda measures 452 × 170 × 286 mm (H × W × D). It connects to the cold-water supply and requires a drain connection for RO reject water as well as a suitable electrical supply for the booster pump and hydrogen system.
The supplied installation diagram should be used when planning cupboard position, tubing routes, faucet location and servicing clearance.

Kinetico Kenda RO with Hydrogen FAQs
What is different about the Kenda compared with a standard RO system?
The Kenda combines a conventional reverse osmosis purification process with a dedicated hydrogen-generation function. It therefore provides RO filtration plus the option of hydrogen-enriched drinking water.
What is the Kenda's RO flow rate?
The stated RO flow rate is 1.8 litres per minute, subject to incoming-water conditions.
How much molecular hydrogen does it produce?
The stated hydrogen concentration is 800–1,000 PPB, with a hydrogen-water flow rate of 0.8–1.2 litres per minute. Actual performance depends on incoming-water conditions.
Does the Kenda have a storage tank?
No. It uses a tankless direct-flow design, so a separate purified-water storage tank is not required.
Does it require electricity?
Yes. Electrical power is required for the booster pump and the system's hydrogen-generation technology.
Does the Kenda soften hard water?
No. Reverse osmosis reduces dissolved substances in drinking water, but the Kenda is not a whole-house ion-exchange water softener. Its specification gives a recommended maximum incoming hardness of 15 °F.
Does hydrogen-rich water have proven health benefits?
Research into molecular hydrogen is ongoing. The Kenda's hydrogen function should not be interpreted as a treatment or prevention for any medical condition.
What warranty is included?
The product information states a 2-year warranty.
