Non-electric twin-tank water softener
Continuous soft water, designed for higher-flow homes
The Kinetico Supersoft HF combines a compact cabinet with dependable high-flow performance. Designed for pressurised plumbing systems, combi boilers and homes with greater water demand, it delivers softened water without electricity or interruptions during regeneration.

Proven Kinetico engineering
High-flow performance without electricity
The Supersoft HF uses water pressure to meter usage and control regeneration. It only regenerates when its calculated capacity has been used, helping to avoid unnecessary salt and water consumption.
- Suitable for combi boilers and unvented hot-water systems
- Fine-mesh resin for effective hardness removal
- Compact cabinet measuring 495 × 205 × 475 mm at the base
- Reversible inlet and outlet arrangement for flexible installation
Continuous soft water
Twin tanks maintain the supply during regeneration.
Reliable and simple
Water-powered operation with no electrical controls.
2-year parts warranty
Backed by 2-year parts and 2-year labour cover.
Block or tablet salt
Use two 4 kg blocks or good-quality tablets.

Soft water around the clock
Twin tanks prevent interruptions
Conventional single-tank softeners cannot soften water while regenerating. The Supersoft HF automatically switches between two resin tanks, allowing one tank to remain in service while the other cleans itself.
This makes it particularly well suited to busy households where several bathrooms or water-using appliances may be operating during the same period.

Demand-led regeneration
Efficient by design
The system measures actual water use instead of regenerating on a fixed-day schedule. Each regeneration takes approximately 12 minutes and uses 0.3 kg of salt and 23 litres of water.
- No plug, electrical socket or electronic timer required
- Regenerates according to measured demand
- Two 4.5-litre resin tanks provide 9 litres in total
- Fine-mesh resin is packed into each media tank
Compact and installer-friendly
Flexible installation for modern homes
The inlet and outlet components can be reversed, allowing the connections to face the most practical direction. Kinetico recommends installation by a qualified installer or engineer.
- Operating pressure range of 0.83–8.3 bar
- Operating temperature range of 1.7–35°C
- ¾-inch inlet and outlet connections
- Minimum operating flow of 1.1 litres per minute
Salt and routine care
Simple day-to-day ownership
The front compartment accepts two 4 kg blocks of salt. Good-quality tablet salt can also be used, giving you flexibility when refilling the system.
Do not use rock or granular salt. Kinetico warns that its impurities can interfere with performance.

Kinetico Supersoft HE vs Supersoft HF
The two models share the same compact twin-tank design and regeneration efficiency. The important difference is flow performance: Kinetico identifies the HE for vented or gravity-fed systems and the HF for pressurised systems.
Supersoft HE
25 L/minChoose the HE for a vented or gravity-fed plumbing system, where dependable performance at lower operating flow is important.
