The Kinetico SuperSoft Pro is designed to reduce the effects of hard water throughout the home, helping protect plumbing, boilers, showers, appliances and bathroom fittings from limescale build up.

It is suitable for homes that need a compact but capable softener with strong flow performance and a generous salt storage capacity.

Bypass and Non Return Valve Setup

The installation manual states that a bypass kit and non return valve should be fitted, and that the installation must comply with UK water regulations.

What water pressure does the SuperSoft Pro need?

The supply pressure must be at least 1.8 bar. If pressure exceeds 6 bar, a suitable pressure reducing valve must be installed.

How much salt does the brine tank hold?

The brine tank has a listed salt storage capacity of 25kg and is designed for tablet salt.

Can I use rock salt or granular salt?

No. The manual states that only salt made for use in water softeners should be used. Rock, solar or granular salt can interfere with performance and may invalidate the warranty.

How do I know when to add salt?

You can add salt whenever there is enough room in the brine tank.
