Advanced Drinking Water Filtration for Acquapuro Tap Systems

The Acquapuro ACQ-0.IFC is designed for use with compatible kitchen filtration taps and other drinking water applications. It helps improve the taste, appearance and consistency of drinking water while supporting reduction claims for chlorine taste and odour, particulate Class 1, turbidity, cysts and bacteriostatic performance.

This makes it a suitable choice for customers who want a stronger filtration option than a simple taste and odour cartridge.

4 Stage Filtration Process

1. Felt Pre-Filter

Helps capture larger particles before water reaches the main filtration media.

2. Carbon Block

Helps reduce chlorine taste and odour while improving everyday drinking water quality.

3. Scale Control Media

Polyphosphate media helps reduce scale formation, depending on configuration and local water conditions.

4. UF Membrane

The 0.1 micron UF membrane provides fine mechanical filtration for selected contaminants.

Simple Quarter Turn Filter Replacement

The ACQ-0.IFC cartridge is designed for straightforward replacement. Shut off the water, relieve line pressure, rotate the old cartridge counter clockwise by a quarter turn, remove it, insert the new cartridge, rotate clockwise until it clicks, then flush the filter for 5 minutes before use.

The manufacturer recommends replacing the disposable cartridge every 12 months, before rated capacity is reached, or sooner if there is a noticeable reduction in flow rate.

The technical data includes bacterial reduction and bacteriostatic claims. However, the filter should not be used with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without suitable disinfection before or after the system.

Is the cartridge easy to change?

Yes. It uses a quarter turn replacement method. After fitting the new cartridge, flush the filter for 5 minutes before use.

Can this filter be used on hot water?

No. This filter is for cold water only and should not be installed on hot water supply lines.
