Fast Direct Flow
Up to 2.2 litres per minute for glasses, kettles, bottles and everyday cooking.
Tankless Design
No pressurised storage tank, helping preserve valuable cupboard space beneath the sink.
Quick-Change Filters
Front-access cartridges can be replaced without moving the system or using specialist tools.
2-Year Warranty
Manufacturer warranty for two years, subject to correct installation, approved parts and regular maintenance.

High-Capacity Purification Without the Storage Tank
Traditional reverse osmosis systems often rely on a separate pressurised tank. The hydRO Pro uses a high-capacity 800GPD membrane and booster pump to produce purified water directly when the tap is opened.
- 130mm wide cabinet
- 435mm deep × 385mm high
- 800GPD RO pump and membrane
- Designed for municipal tap water
Purified Water at Up to 2.2 Litres Per Minute
The high-flow design makes the hydRO Pro suitable for households that use purified water frequently throughout the day. It can fill bottles, kettles and cooking vessels considerably faster than many traditional tank-based RO systems.
Efficient Water Use
Hommix states that the system produces approximately 0.7 litres of wastewater for every 1 litre of purified water, substantially reducing wastewater compared with many older RO configurations.
Actual flow and efficiency can vary with incoming water pressure, temperature and water quality.
Three Quick-Change Filters, Four Purification Stages
The hydRO Pro combines sediment, activated carbon, reverse osmosis and final post-carbon filtration in a compact three-cartridge design.
Sediment Filtration
Helps reduce suspended particles, sediment and rust before water reaches the membrane.
Activated Carbon
Targets chlorine, organic compounds, colour and unwanted odours before reverse osmosis.
800GPD RO Membrane
The TFC reverse osmosis membrane provides the main purification stage for dissolved contaminants.
Post Carbon
Final activated carbon polishing helps improve taste and reduce residual odour before dispensing.
Filter Status, TDS Monitoring and Automatic Alerts
The front display provides live system information including TDS, filter status, flushing and purified-water production. Filter indicators warn when replacement is approaching and combine flashing alerts with an audible alarm when a cartridge is due to be changed.
- TDS reading updated every 10 seconds
- Approx. 30-day advance filter warning
- Audible replacement alarm
- Manual and automatic RO membrane flushing

Prefer Remineralised Water?
The hydRO Pro can be paired with the Hommix Alkaline Mineralising 2 filter, which is installed after the RO system to reintroduce selected minerals following reverse osmosis.
This is an optional addition rather than a requirement — the hydRO Pro operates as a complete reverse osmosis system without it.
Complete Installation Kit Included
Hommix supplies the core fittings, tubing, drinking-water tap and connectors needed for a standard installation.
- Hommix hydRO Pro unit

What You Need Under the Sink
Cold Water Feed
A 1/2-inch BSP cold-water connection and municipal tap-water supply are required.
Drain Connection
A suitable drain pipe is required for the RO concentrate water connection.
Power Socket
The booster pump requires access to a standard UK 3-pin electrical socket.
1–4 Bar Pressure
The manual specifies an incoming pressure range of 1–4 bar and requires pressure reduction above 4 bar.

Hommix hydRO Pro FAQs
Is the Hommix hydRO Pro tankless?
Yes. It is a direct-flow system and does not require a separate pressurised storage tank.
How fast is the water flow?
Hommix specifies a flow rate of approximately 2.0–2.2 litres per minute, depending on incoming pressure and water quality.
How much wastewater does it produce?
The manufacturer states a pure-to-waste ratio of 1 litre of purified water to approximately 0.7 litres of wastewater.
How often do the filters need replacing?
The PCB and CB cartridges are typically replaced around every 12 months, while the 800GPD RO membrane is typically replaced around every 24 months.
Does the system tell me when a filter needs changing?
Yes. The display has individual filter indicators. They flash when approximately 30 days of filter life remain and combine flashing alerts with an audible alarm when replacement is due.
Can I connect it to a Hommix 3-way tap?
Yes. The manual confirms that the pure-water tube can connect to the filtered-water connection on a Hommix 3-way tap instead of using the separate drinking-water tap.
Does it include an alkaline filter?
An alkaline remineralisation filter is available as an optional push-fit addition. Check the selected package before ordering.
What water pressure does it need?
The manual specifies an incoming pressure of 1–4 bar. A pressure reducer is required if the incoming pressure exceeds 4 bar.
Does the system require electricity?
Yes. The 800GPD booster pump and electronic display require a nearby UK electrical socket.
