A practical alternative to a plumbed-in drinking-water system
The CROSS RAY draws water from its 4-litre refill tank, so it does not need a mains-water connection or a hole drilled through the worktop. It is well suited to kitchens, rented homes, apartments, home offices and other spaces where a permanent installation is not desirable.

The control panel gives direct access to the settings used most often. Select a 120 ml, 240 ml, 360 ml or 500 ml serving, then choose ambient water or one of three heated-water temperatures.
Warm water
A gentler heated setting for everyday drinking.
Hot drinks
A convenient intermediate setting for selected drinks.
Near-boiling use
For tea, coffee and tasks that require very hot water.
Hot-water safety: The child lock must be released before heated water is dispensed. Cups and containers must be suitable for the selected temperature.

The genuine Ecosoft CSV175BHAECO cartridge integrates three treatment functions in a single replaceable unit. This keeps routine servicing straightforward while the automatic UV cycle provides added protection inside the purified-water tank.

Monitor purified-water TDS and cartridge life on the display
The integrated display shows the TDS reading for the purified water and includes a cartridge replacement indicator. This makes it easier to monitor day-to-day operation without dismantling the appliance.

TDS is an operating guide: The displayed reading does not prove that water is microbiologically safe. Use only municipal tap water and never water of unknown quality unless properly disinfected.
Compact 200 mm footprint
Designed for worktops where width is limited
At 200 mm wide, the CROSS RAY occupies less lateral worktop space than many multifunction dispensers. Allow enough depth, overhead clearance and ventilation to refill, remove and clean the tanks comfortably.
Usable refill volume: The raw-water tank is 4 litres nominal. The manual specifies 3.2 litres with the diversion plug removed where feed TDS is below 500 mg/L, or 2.8 litres with the plug retained where feed TDS is 500 mg/L or higher.
First use and routine care
Flush the system fully before drinking the water
On first use and after fitting a replacement cartridge, run and discard two full raw-water tanks. Do not drink this flushing water. Afterwards, dispense approximately 1 litre at ambient temperature and 0.5 litre at 100°C to verify operation before normal use.

Does the Ecosoft CROSS RAY require plumbing?
No. Fill the removable 4-litre source-water tank with cold potable tap water and connect the appliance to a suitable electrical socket. It does not connect directly to the mains water supply.
Does the CROSS RAY dispense cold water?
No. It provides water at ambient temperature plus heated settings of 45°C, 65°C and 100°C. It does not include a chilled-water function.
What does the 3-in-1 cartridge contain?
The cartridge combines polypropylene sediment filtration, carbon block treatment and a 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane in one replaceable unit.
How often should the cartridge be replaced?
Replace the CSV175BHAECO cartridge after one year or 2,000 litres, whichever comes first. The indicator illuminates when approximately two weeks of life remain and flashes when the cartridge has expired. Water quality and consumption can shorten the interval.
What does the UV function do?
An automatic UV cycle operates in the 1.4-litre purified-water tank as an additional hygiene measure. The appliance must still be filled only with cold potable municipal water.
Can I dispense a measured amount of water?
Yes. The selectable volume settings are 120 ml, 240 ml, 360 ml and 500 ml, helping reduce spills and repeated manual stopping.
Does reverse osmosis create reject water?
Yes. Reverse osmosis leaves increasingly concentrated water in the raw-water tank. The manual instructs users to pour away the remaining water before refilling rather than repeatedly topping up the tank.
Does the CROSS RAY add minerals back into the water?
No mineralisation stage is listed for this model. Choose a system with a dedicated remineralisation stage if adding calcium or magnesium after reverse osmosis is a priority.
What should I do before using the CROSS RAY for the first time?
Flush and discard two complete raw-water tanks. Then dispense about 1 litre of ambient water and 0.5 litre at 100°C to confirm operation. Do not drink any water until the complete first-use procedure has been finished.
