Filtered kettle-hot water in a polished chrome finish
The Clearwater Magus 3 combines normal hot and cold mixer water with filtered water heated up to 98°C. Its compact C-spout, polished chrome finish and under-sink system replace the everyday kettle without adding another tap beside the sink.
Three water optionsNormal hot, cold and kettle-hot
Adjustable temperatureFiltered water up to 98°C
Boiler includedDigital thermostatic tank
Safer operationChild-safe control and cool-touch spout
A cleaner worktop with everyday hot-water convenience built in
The standard mixer lever handles ordinary hot and cold water. A separate safety control dispenses filtered kettle-hot water, allowing the Magus to replace both the existing kitchen mixer and countertop kettle.
- Normal hot water for everyday sink use
- Normal cold water through the mixer control
- Filtered kettle-hot water up to 98°C
- High-arc, 360° swivel spout
The third function is filtered kettle-hot water—not filtered cold
This Magus 3 model supplies domestic hot, domestic cold and filtered water heated by the under-sink boiler. If separately filtered cold drinking water is required as a fourth option, compare Clearwater’s four-in-one tap range instead.
Normal hot
For washing, rinsing and ordinary sink use.
Normal cold
Selected through the main mixer lever.
Filtered kettle-hot
Delivered through the dedicated safety control.
No filtered cold
This requires a four-in-one model.
Press, hold and turn to dispense near-boiling water
To operate the kettle-hot supply, press and hold the small safety button on the left control while rotating the handle backwards. The separate right-hand lever controls the normal mixer supply.
- Child-safe press-and-turn kettle-hot control
- Cool-touch insulated spout construction
- Cold-start mixer technology
- Twin-lever, non-pull-out design
Set the kettle-hot temperature from 45°C to 98°C
The supplied 2.4-litre under-sink tank stores and reheats filtered water ready for dispensing. Its front digital controls allow the selected outlet temperature to be adjusted across the manufacturer’s 45°C to 98°C range.
- 2.4-litre stainless-steel hot-water tank
- Adjustable digital temperature control
- Up to 60 regular cups per hour
- Open-vented system prevents pressurised near-boiling storage
The boiler and filtration system are part of the product
This is not a tap-only listing. The current Clearwater system includes the thermostatic boiler, F6C1UF filter cartridge and the standard connection components required for the manufacturer’s arrangement.
Plan the tap, boiler, filter, pressure and power together
The manufacturer’s installation instructions are stricter than some short retailer specifications. Use the manual’s 1.5–5.0 bar supply range, have the services checked by a competent installer and allow proper ventilation and maintenance access.
Water pressure
1.5 bar minimum and 5.0 bar maximum; approximately 2.5 bar is recommended.
Tap opening
A 35 mm sink or worktop mounting hole is specified.
Electrical supply
220–240 V, 50 Hz, grounded 13 A switched socket beneath the sink.
Ventilation
Install the tank upright with 10–15 cm side clearance and 2.5 cm behind.

Frequently asked questions
What three types of water does the Magus 3 provide?
It supplies normal hot water, normal cold water and filtered kettle-hot water adjustable up to 98°C. It does not supply separately filtered cold drinking water.
Are the boiler and filter included?
Yes. The current system includes the digital thermostatic boiler, Clearwater F6C1UF filter system and the standard manufacturer connection components.
How does the child-safe kettle-hot control work?
Press and hold the small button on the left control, then rotate the handle backwards. The ordinary hot and cold mixer water is controlled by the larger right-hand lever.
What water pressure is required?
The installation instructions state a 1.5 bar minimum and 5.0 bar maximum. Clearwater recommends approximately 2.5 bar, and a pressure-reducing valve may be needed on higher-pressure supplies.
How often must the filter be replaced?
Every six months, regardless of the filter indicator. Clearwater states that failure to follow this interval can invalidate the product warranty.
Does the Magus 3 need an electrical supply?
Yes. The under-sink boiler requires a grounded 220–240 V, 50 Hz, 13 A switched socket. The installer must also confirm ventilation and access around the upright tank.
Why can water continue briefly after the handle is released?
The kettle-hot side is an open-vented system, so a slight delay or continued flow can occur as pressure equalises. This is normal for the manufacturer’s non-pressurised arrangement.
