Filtered drinking water with a distinctive Chrome and Nero finish
The Clearwater Hydra combines normal hot, normal cold and separately filtered drinking water in one architectural L-spout tap. Its two-lever arrangement keeps everyday control simple, while the dual-outlet spout keeps filtered water separate from the ordinary mixer supply.

Familiar mixer control with filtered water on demand
The larger lever controls ordinary hot and cold mixer water. The smaller lever operates the filtered cold-water supply, giving you a dedicated drinking-water function without adding a second tap to the sink.
- One main lever for domestic hot and cold water
- Separate smaller lever for filtered drinking water
- Two outlets keep filtered and mixer water separate
- Single-hole installation preserves a clean sink area
Designed to simplify the sink without mixing supplies
The Hydra replaces a standard kitchen mixer and separate drinking-water dispenser. The two water routes remain distinct inside the spout, so filtered water is delivered through its own outlet.
Hot and cold
The main lever blends ordinary domestic hot and cold water.
Filtered water
The smaller lever dispenses filtered cold drinking water.
Separate outlets
Filtered water remains separate from the standard mixer supply.
Nero texture balanced with polished Chrome details
The dark textured body gives the Hydra a strong architectural presence, while polished Chrome controls and trim add contrast. Its low, linear L-spout suits modern kitchens, granite sinks and darker appliance schemes particularly well.
- Chrome and Nero two-tone finish
- Minimalist L-shaped spout
- Solid brass construction
- Reliable ceramic disc valves
Compact controls keep the worktop uncluttered
The controls sit neatly on either side of the cylindrical tap body. This compact layout makes each water function easy to identify without interrupting the Hydra’s clean horizontal profile.
- Clearly differentiated mixer and filter controls
- Quarter-turn ceramic valve operation
- 360° spout rotation for practical sink coverage
- Non-pull-out construction with fewer visible components

Frequently asked questions
Does the Clearwater Hydra Nero include a filter?
Yes. The current HY2NE package includes the F6C1-UF ultrafiltration cartridge, the required filter components and connectors, and the Pure FlowPro digital filter monitor.
How are hot, cold and filtered water controlled?
The larger lever controls normal hot and cold mixer water. The smaller lever independently operates filtered cold drinking water.
Does filtered water mix with ordinary tap water?
No. The Hydra uses separate outlets for filtered drinking water and ordinary hot-and-cold mixer water.
Is the Hydra Nero a pull-out tap?
No. The HY2NE has a fixed, non-pull-out L-spout that swivels through 360°.
What water pressure does it require?
Clearwater’s current model-specific listing gives a minimum of 1.0 bar for HY2NE. The fitting instructions state a maximum supply pressure of 5 bar.
How often should the filter be replaced?
Replacement is recommended at around 4,000 litres or six months in normal household use. The manufacturer states that the cartridge must be changed within 12 months even where usage is low.
How should I clean the Nero finish?
Use a clean, soft damp cloth and, if required, warm water with a mild liquid detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive, scouring or acidic cleaners, solvents or harsh household chemicals.
