Softening with Iron and Manganese Reduction
Aquaphor's current S1000 specification rates maximum dissolved ferrous iron and manganese concentration at 14 mg/L, subject to the full incoming water chemistry. The manual states that treated iron can be reduced to 0.3 mg/L or below and manganese to 0.1 mg/L or below under specified conditions.

The S1000 combines superfine monodisperse resin with intelligent water-meter-controlled regeneration. Smaller resin granules increase the contact surface with the water and regenerate efficiently, while the Dual Core valve architecture reduces unnecessary discharge.

The S1000 is taller than the S800 while retaining the same published cabinet footprint. Allow additional room for pipework, the drain connection, power supply and easy access to the salt cabinet.
